Join Foundation For The Carolinas for a timely conversation on animal welfare and the important role it plays in our region. Local nonprofit leaders will share how they’re supporting animals and the people who care for them through fostering and rehoming programs, therapy animals and innovative approaches to care and connection.

This event is open to the public, so please bring a friend or colleague who may be interested in this topic or would like to learn more about the Foundation and our partners.

Following the discussion, we will host a brief reception featuring some of our furry friends. We invite you to stay and engage with them.

Opening Remarks: Katie Tyler, Animal Welfare Advocate

Panelists:
Cary Bernstein, Founder/Executive Director, Stand For Animals
Shelly Moore, President/CEO, Humane Society of Charlotte
Abby Richardson, Animal Welfare Manager, Lake Norman Humane
