Helping Small Business Go Beyond Open

Beyond Open Small Business Grant Program is administered by FFTC Partners For Empowering Communities, a supporting organization of Foundation For The Carolinas. Create Your Own Scholarship Fund at FFTC

Help local students pursue their dreams by opening a scholarship fund with Foundation For The Carolinas. Established by generous fundholders, scholarship funds provide support for students ranging from kindergarten to graduate school.

A Bold Vision for an Equitable Charlotte

The Mayor's Racial Equity Initiative recently announced an update on progress for the $250-million public-private partnership to improve opportunity for all. Thanks to the generosity of funders and the work of community leaders, there’s an incredible amount of momentum across the MREI’s four Priority Areas – momentum that’s already led to marked shifts in the quest for a more equitable Charlotte.

Fundraising for Arts and Culture

With local cultural nonprofits devastated by lost revenues due to the effects of the pandemic, FFTC was called to lead a private-sector campaign to match City of Charlotte funding. Thanks to generous donors, FFTC raised $23 million for the creative sector, a good portion of which has already been granted to local arts & culture organizations.

Robinson Center for Civic Leadership

As FFTC’s flagship program, the Robinson Center for Civic Leadership convenes the community to address our greatest challenges. From affordable housing to economic opportunity to the environment, and more, since its inception, RCCL has leveraged nearly $10 million in funding to generate an impact of more than $380 million in our community.
