The Lincoln County Community Foundation was established in 2001 to encourage charitable giving within the local community. Its mission is to bring together donors, community leaders and nonprofits to make positive impacts throughout Lincoln County, N.C.
The volunteer board of advisors have awarded more than $168,000 to local nonprofits over the last five years to support projects that enhance lives and improve the community.
The Foundation’s grantmaking generally falls within nine primary investment areas (as defined by the IRS National Taxonomy of Exempt Organizations):
You can help Lincoln County Community Foundation reach more local charities with larger grants by making a gift to the endowment. Your gift will support the principal balance of the endowment, which – over time – will increase the annual amount available to be granted to the community for years to come.
If you would like to make your gift available for grantmaking now to benefit the community, please write “spendable contribution” in the “Leave a comment” section.
